Dear President...2 Baptisms Coming Up!!

Dear president where dose the time go it seems like i was just here writing you last week. So we have been working with investigators and they both just pasted the interview for bap. so we have two baptizums on the 4th of january a 19 year old and a 60 something yr guy. Both are great and very intelligent I know that both will really help out this little rama in the area of preisthood. we had a specail meetin with all the leaders in our area to apply the 12 week program of missionaries to the learders. We are working with the president because the stake presisdent wants every one to have a PMG and these CDs but the pres. of our rama say he has no funds to add the cause. So we will see how that all works out. As for elder Arrayan and my self we are just getting ready to change house again. the new house is truely quite nice and large for just the two of us, plenty of room to have two more elders in the area. Seem that a volcano when off, crazy hope all the other missionaries are doing well and will pray for them. happy to have had the chance to skype my family and share in the spirit of christmas. Not much else, tryin g to learn spanish still and build confidence speaking with others. thanks for every thing

Dear President

Dear president, things ar going really well here in Sesunte. I am getting use to the walking up and down hills all the time but it is still not my favorite ting to do in life. I am trying to be truely sincer in my prays for the spirit. One of our invertigators came with us to work one day. he is really great and super intelligent. I know that he is going to be a great member and every getter missionary. We had a small lesson with him in the chaple after church and in his prayer he started to cry and we all could truely testify that the spirit was present and working in him. grateful for all his faith. We have been making alot of contacts and new investigators (familys). Elder Holyoak is a great leader and i can tell from his prayers that he is truely guided by the spirt and elder arrayan is so loving and knows what people need to feel durning a street contact or in a lesson to invoke the spirt. We were able to what the christmas address with the rama in a projector. was very peacful exspirence. I hope that all is going well with your adventures in life with the family . I look forward to seeing you in the coming week. Elder Hunt

4 Months

So here is a email of just every thing that i have been doing exspirenced and stuff. So i live in a area called moncagua it´s in the zone san miguel and in the east mission. We have changes on tuesday of this week and i still don´t know if i am going to stay in the same area and same trainner or if i am going some where else. the ward is great and we work all over the plave taking buses and walking alot. I have been collecting and pressing more flowers like i did in the MTC so i hope to have a bunch in years. We eat beans, plantans, eggs and some kind of HOT drink every morning at the bishops house then lunsh here is DINNER a big meal that is HOT also. So eating some times is hard because the weather is hot yo{u don´t want to eat hot food too. and them at dinner every night we have pupusas fron the bishops family. I feel great now and I am no longer sick. so i am starting to work out in the morning time again and I get up early to read the book of mormon, Guess what. I REALLY like the read now it´s all in want to do is read and study the gosple, like you were sharing mikaila the importance is knowing the gosple and the spirit will fill in the language gap. I cried at one of our lessons about the atonment and truely felt the spirit there. A crazy thing that happend was that area next to us the elders left so out of no were, we go alll their investigators and less actives we can only work with them at the church or at the house of a memeber we are not allowed to enter their area so the poeple have to travel to moncagua. in a long bus ride we watch Caragous it is a great stroy of what is means to man and chossing to do the right thing for your self and your family and always putting faith in god first. That is something that i have learned here is that I was not the best son, friend, boyfriend or menmber of the church for a long time so for that I am sorry. I know that all of you must really love me to put up with all my shinanigens in life. But i would like you all to know that i love living the way that i do now and can feel the spirit in my life so strongly. I hope that when i get back i am able to make up for past times with all you guys. I love the feeling of having time to study the scripuiters every day. my testimony grows every day. THANK YOU personaly MIKAILA, MOM DAD and BENETTON for your examples . Well I am not sure if i am going to get a package in time and i also sent a every important package to mikaila in the MTC through a friend in san diego. I hope taht she gets it. But thank you for all you guys have done for me and her. I am going to get my self a new watch today mine broke two weeks ago so it´s TIME ha ha for a new one. Well I love you guys very much and look forward to seeing pictures of christmas time. there is a few poeple here that have trees and lights an stuff but it´s always hot here so kinda feels silly seeing that stuff. did you guys get the pictures from my Pday adventure? How is every one doing in life? also I have been talking alot about all of you guys with the elders in the house kirra mikaila little sister, there is an elder here that is just like her when she grows up. CRAZY. i look forward to talking with you guys and also going to the temple again here. well time flys here I will be here 4 months in dec 4th. love you all until next time. eldre hunt

A Peak into the Life of Elder Hunt (Pics)

things are great here I was sick but now i am all better and there is a picture of my room i sleep with these christmas lights that make the room glo red, we are working on two more baptisums this month. we travel to other towns by bus and work with less actives and investigators out there but the buses never really are on time so we have a 1 hour walk back to town them more work. but i got to go to walmart by surprise we had a new missionary training and a multi zone we eat well and the house we live in is cheap. got mikailas emails and also lances hope you are getting the pictures. we visited a hot spring and got lost in the jungle. ha ah love you all very much and will send more pictures

Fireflies

we have a family that feeds us all but 4 meals a week and also a family that does our lundry, not sure about thanksgiving did nothing for halloween, tell chase hey and hope he is enjoying life. proud of ashton he`s a great guy. we only get mail and packages ebvery 6 weeks so in like two weeks i should get them all. also forgot to tell you guys that we have fireflies here and that we are going on a hike in the mountains today for pday and i`m going to try and get pictures for next week. we worked with this man last night and he was playing the guitar and w just randomly ducked out of the rain that was POURING in to his house talked for a while and he said that my spanish was better then my companions. ha ha i don`t belive that but was nice to here. worked with the zone learder and the assistant to the president both really
Dear Sister Hunt,
Your good son and his companion were coming out of the market in the third largest town in the country (yes much food like home). What a special person to be serving in a third world country! Lynn and Jim Avery

Moncagua

So we shop in town once a week and get to email for 30min as a new mission rule, the pictures look great. thank you so much for getting the kendoma for mikaila. The area that i live in is moncagua and is a small town but the ward is probably the best in all of El salvador small in numbers compared to the states but full of love. Yes we had a church building that we meet in but the piano sounds like there as dead cats inside is and every note is out of tune. we teach and english classes on saturday and at the same time have the scriputres playing on CD for memeber and investigators that can´t read. there is a very large number of people that can´t read here so when i have a hard time reading in spanish I don´t feel so bad. we are in a ward.I could bve here for either 6 weeks or 12 weeks just depend on the changes. also we are going to get new mission president in a few months so my relase date might be pushed forward a few weeks. not sure but what ever. I really like it here and the more that i get to know the people the more i feel that i am in just the right place. I´ll let you know when i get my first package. well low in time love you guys lots and will always pray for you elder hunt

First Week in El Salvador

so the time here is crazy it goes by so fast and so slow at the same time. But this week we traveled out to a place called platanar that is a long walk 25 min and a bus ride but we taught alot of people and i got to know my companion better as we walk we talk about life. He is really nice and has lost 42 lbs in the past 3 months here . He is from sandy and is about 6´1 has glasses i´ll add a picture.he is into nintento games and reading and movies and just being silly so we have alot in common,he has 3 months in the feild here. the ward here is probably the best in all of the zones they do so much and are amazing for how small they are. i have been cleaning our house little by little every day people here seem not eo care in the lest for cleanlyness or higen.the language is still coming very slowly but i guess all things in time. glade to hear that you and mikaila went to lunch man I love that gal. Cool that she played the piano and bummed that I missed it.probably was the best talk in the world. Thank you so much for the package and all that you do for mikaila.I know that she will do amazing things. Tell benetton his name has been in three different temples and i am so happy to hear that he is doing well. dad love you very much and your example of being a missionary. Letter from the President and Pics :)

Hello,
We are the Glaziers in San Salvador. We received Elder Hunt here. He is very well prepared and has great faith. We are grateful to serve with him here in this part of the Lord's vineyard. Thank you for preparing him so very well--he is a fine young man. I hope your family receives many blessings for the sacrifice you have made to bring the gospel to many of God’s children here on earth. I know you will see God’s hand in your life and the life of your son during his mission. One of the promises of God to his missionaries is that they will be protected and watched over.
His preparation day is every Monday. He can write and read your email on that day. He sends his love to all of you.
We love our missionaries. We love and appreciate their faithful families. We pray that, together, we will all grow in our personal conversion to the Lord. Our mission theme is: "I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and will be until the day I die." We are working diligently to convert more than just the people of El Salvador. We so appreciate your faith and prayers on behalf of all our missionaries here.
Love,
President and Sister Glazier

Letter #2 Time

So time here is weird the hours go by very slowly but the days and weeks are what go fast. Not sure if i´m going to repeat myself or not here. So this week there was so many different things that happened, I was able to go to the temple last tuesday after emailing you all. it was awazing the celestial room is small but the spirit is very stong in there. There is only the old video there and they play it in spainsh but i got headphones to hear english. I really like the old video more. I pray so much here, probably more then all of you do, But i prayed for all of you in the temple and i put benetton's name on the temple roll. I feel so blessed to see the extreme difference through the doors of the temple. So dirty and loud out there, but pure white and heavenly sillence. elder smartt and my self made a list of goals to try and keep to better our selfs. I´m not only trying to become a great missionary. but the man that I want to be for the rest of my life, early morning runs, language study, respecting every one and doing every thing that the lord asks of me in FAITH. that is the biggest thing for me here is that I´m learning FAITH. to trust that god is standing in where I was to help you all through your need and protect you. Like I said I pray for you all at lest 20 times a day. so to answer alot of your questions. the food here is like that of a high school cafe. you can go back and get as much as you want, there is fuirt and salad all the time and some form of beans and rice. I alway try everything that is here but some time is just to rough and I just have a salad. I enjoy gym time here there is a lot to choose from full into and out door basket ball gyms. two different weight rooms and a few different soccer feilds with oull up bars out and around too. also there is a foot ball feild here that we have been playing ultimate fesbree on in the rainy mist type stuff that looks like snow. happy to have brought thee arobee. teaching thee investigators isn{t weird for me because i veiw it as they are practice for some one that really can use this pratice. I pray for el don de languia or the gift of tonges, for mikaila as well as she studies for her mission so stoked for here to get out in the feild and feel all these amaing blessings. we had thee oportunity to stay out late and have two different mexican feistas. there is alway fireworks and gun shots going off for all the different celibrations. on sunday we watch movies and MY heart is growing to understand what true love is and how very thank for i am for all thee harships they had to indear for us. ( i cry here so much and the other elders lover it because they are never alone) ha ha the spirt is very strong here. I am the olders of the group and the guys some time look to me as the example so i´´m tryin my best to instill good goals and values to them. not that i really have anything too amazing to share, but i try. i have pictures that i´m going to try and send you so this email probably wont be as long as the last one. but i´m starting week three here and i half way through the CCM. the poeple are great, and out district is very close. i would like for all of you to send me an up date of how your goals are coming and a picture of just something that you do throughtout the week. i want you all to be progessing as well. the language is very slow for me but i just understand that it will come in time. I have so mush that i want to say and the spirit is very strong is just need to have the words. feel free to send DEAR ELDER, i got mikailas letter and i look forward to hearing from you all in so many different ways. i love you all and can´t wait the hear from you next week.

Letter 1: The CCM (The MTC)

I´m not sure if the address is right that you gave me for the MTC here or not, they have checked the mail and I haven´t gotten anything. So maybe have mikaila just email me her letter rather then dear elder. They haven´t said anything on who I can and can´t email here in the MTC or we call it the CCM. Tuesday is my P-day just so you can know when to check and see íf I´ve emailed you back or not. send me as many as you´d like because I just take a picture of the screen with my camera and I can read them all week long. So please tell benetton and the kids to email me all they want to, mikaila as well or anybody really. I don´t have mikaila´s missionary email could you get that for me so that we can stay in contact when she leaves, the same for harbor and duran could you give me their new emails when they get back and tell them I love them. It´s nice here it rains every day in the morning a little drizzle and later in the day it poors and stops when it wants to then startes back up again. It´s not hot here at all due to how much it rains every day, also the sun never comes out some be hind the clouds, lots of fog in the morning too. So on the plane ride her I meet Elder Medina and he is in my district as well (district 12B) our next flight I meet up with a few other elders from around arizonza and out final flight there was about 30 elders and 6 sisters all flying to the CCM. we got here and it started to rain and I knew that I would like the change from our hot dry little desert, the plants grow up every building and are lush. It´s really cool. the roads here are like drivingon dirt but with pot wholes and people go every which way they want. the bus ride was about on hour from the airport and we are in the heart of Mexico City. the pland we are on is about 90 acrs ! yeah it´s really BIG. but we are sarounded by a large brick wall with a fench and barbwire on top so it almost feels like boarder or prison wall. We stay in side the wall unless we got to the temple on P day which we are going today, everyting there is in spanish so this will be interresting. My companion is Elder Smartt he is from Messa AZ and is Somoan but was adopted when he was little so ´he´s really just white. we live in dorms here our building is A and our room is 305. there is 6 of us to a apartement with 3 rooms about the size of moms bathroom. two twin beds a desk and closets. we all share a bathroom and there is a front room to just use for whatever. elder smartt is a really nice guy he is 18 and a strong and opened minded elder, his spanish is really good, he still has a lot to learn but it´s nice to have him when we are teaching a lesson. the other roommates are elder becker and elder ma´ lona they are a companion ship of a really skinny white kid and a pretty large somoan guy they are 18 and 19. And then we have natives from mexico that live with us that are very interresting. one thing that i guess is normal for people in Mexioco is that their pipes are small and as to not mess them up they wipe their bums and throw it in the trash, ha ha this makes elder Ma ´alona SO mad he hates it. I laugh really hard here all the time I think that I will have a 6 pack from just laughing. we have a pretty back to back scehdual here, wake up at 630 then we spend pretty much the whole day in the our class room as a district learing the language, scripture and preparing our lessons to teach. everyone speaks as much spainsh a they can and then the rest is english. we ahve a mock in vestigator that alot of the missionaries here think is really but we just let them be and smile about there successes. her name is danile and elder smartt and myself really focuse in getting to know our investigator and her needs, listening and learning before we try to teacher her. rather then just force things apoun her. we have a similar personality but are different enough to keep things new. we both need to work on not using as much slang with one another as this is not proper or missionary like. which is a great habit to start anyways. the food here is alway something new and DIFFERENT ha ha every one new here is just spending so much time in the bathroom. Ithink im just usé to it ha ha.my favorite thu far was yesterday they gave us the option of meat of this really weird red sandwhich thing( I try everything that look weird) that was AMAZING. It was a veggitarin sandwhich and I had about 3 of them. there is lots of options of what to eat but every one here treats neutela like it´s meth! so many sandwhiches of neutela. besides that on sunday we have videos and meet in the adiutorium as a whole CCM. our CCM president is president pratt and he spoke with us about inviting the holy ghost with our actions not just in prayer. then we wated a devotional from the provo MTC from elder holand from this past year 2013. he spoke on how the preach my gosple is for missionaries to become converted them selfs. he can not live it an inactive RM. that was really good but hard to stay awake from all the studying and they are the softes chairs we see all week. the day ends with a movie on sundays. this one was called ¨the Legusy¨ I would advise to watch it you gain a very HIGH respect for the early members and their hardships. its also´very cheesey and funny. we meet as a district each night and plane for the next day and recape what we felt and learned from today. its where I feel the spirit the strongest and friendships the most. at our apatment we hang out with elder becker and ma´alona befor bed and we pray for everyone and you guys too. we pray alot here. ha ha there is a few other elders that I really like elder brich and elder taylor they make me laugh really hard. on sunday we all write a 5 min talk in as much spanish as we can and then they just call in random people to speak, so if your talk is not down it´s really embarissing. we both spoke on sunday and mine was 90% engilsh but is was nice to hear the I touched some poeple here and they all tell me that the spanish will come. i´m also the senior compainon and our distirct learder is elder withers her is amazing at spanish is should already be in the mission feild, but the lord knows that we need him here and it{s a major blessing. sorry if the worda are all messed up i only have an hour here and the keyboards are all different. please let evey one kow that I´m doing really well and that I want to hear from them. thanks you for all your notes I find them EVERY WHERE. the umbrella is the best thing I have so thanks you . please be careful when you climb mikaila know that you own me your life:) I have so much more love you all of you already and I know that I miss you but understand that I am not home sick my love just is SO strong that i wish i could share in this expirence with you as well. no worries about me coming home i´m having to much fun and growing to much to give up. i love you all and im going to try and add some pictures in another email. bye
